DK MISSION STATEMENT

At Distrik Kollective, our mission is to empower artists, foster creative growth, and connect with a wider audience through our commitment to arts coverage. What sets us apart is our artist-driven approach, community-focused initiatives, and dedication to enhancing the arts experience for enthusiasts while creating tangible improvement opportunities for artists that supports creative and economic development. Our programs and services include Creator’s Jam music workshops at the Eaton Hotel and the Atlas Performing Arts Center, local arts classes, an events calendar, and a featured artist corner in our newsletter. We are constantly cultivating new partnerships, such as with WUMC radio, to showcase local artists monthly. Having received grant funding from the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, we are proud of our impact and excited to continue serving our community.
